Why NavBot-T1?

Today's home robots are either dumb vacuums or expensive humanoids. The T1 is something new — a friendly, mobile face for your AI assistant that can actually move with you, see you, and help out.

🧠

Powered by Jetson Orin Nano

40 TOPS of edge AI compute lets the T1 run vision models, speech recognition, and the NavTalk avatar entirely on-device — no cloud round-trip, no privacy compromise.

🤖

OpenClaw Framework

Open-source motion control stack with built-in self-balancing, obstacle avoidance, and follow-me modes. Customize behavior with Python — the entire codebase ships with the robot.

💬

NavTalk Avatar

A friendly animated AI face on the 10-inch display. Real-time lip-sync, expressive eyes, and natural conversation powered by an LLM with persistent memory of your preferences and routines.

Self-Balancing 2-Wheel Drive

Beefy hub-motor wheels with IMU-driven gyro stabilization. Smoothly navigates flat floors, low thresholds, and outdoor patios — with a tighter footprint than legged or 4-wheel robots.

📱

10" Touch Face Display

The avatar is also a full touchscreen — show recipes, video calls, smart-home controls, kids' lessons, or eldercare reminders. The face becomes whatever the moment needs.

👥

Built for Real Households

Recognizes family members, learns daily routines, follows you room-to-room, and gestures with its articulated arm. Designed for homes, offices, classrooms, and reception lobbies.

A Companion That Moves With Your Family

The T1 isn't stuck on a counter. It rolls into the room when you call it, follows the kids to the kitchen for homework help, and brings video calls to grandparents — all on its own wheels.

Multi-user voice profiles let everyone in the house have their own personalized assistant, without re-introducing themselves every time.

Meet NavTalk — Your AI With a Face

NavTalk is more than a chatbot. The avatar shows expression, makes eye contact, and lip-syncs to its responses in real time. Conversations feel face-to-face because they are.

Powered by an on-device language model with long-term memory, NavTalk remembers your preferences, your schedule, and the little things that matter — without sending your data to the cloud.

Engineering Blueprint

Front, side, and three-quarter design schematics from our industrial design team. Every dimension is final and locked for production.

From Living Rooms to Lobbies

Deploy the T1 as a smart office receptionist, retail greeter, or museum docent. The same hardware that lives at home can work the front desk — just swap the persona configuration.

Built-in face recognition, badge scanning via the touchscreen, and Slack/Teams integration make it a real workplace tool, not a novelty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is NavTalk an LLM and does it run locally?

Yes. NavTalk runs an on-device language model on the Jetson Orin Nano's GPU, with optional cloud burst for heavier reasoning. By default, your conversations and family data never leave the robot.

What is OpenClaw?

OpenClaw is our open-source motion-control framework that handles the T1's self-balancing, navigation, follow-me behavior, and arm manipulation. The full codebase ships with every robot — fork it, modify it, contribute back.

Can the T1 climb stairs?

No. The T1 is optimized for flat surfaces with low thresholds (up to ~2 cm). Cliff sensors prevent falls down stairs. For multi-floor homes, you can have a T1 per floor or use the elevator with a smart-home integration.

How long does the battery last?

About 4 hours of active use (rolling, talking, listening) and ~12 hours in idle dock mode. Pro tier includes a spare battery for 8 hours of continuous use.

Is the arm strong enough to carry things?

The 4-DOF arm is designed for gestures and lightweight handoffs (under 500g) — like passing a phone, a cup, or a TV remote. It's not built for fetching laundry baskets.

Can I build my own personas?

Absolutely. The NavTalk persona format is JSON + a voice profile + an avatar mesh. We'll launch a community persona marketplace in Q1 2027. Open-source personas will be free; paid personas split revenue with creators.

Does it work with Alexa, Google Home, HomeKit?

Yes — via Matter (included on all tiers) and HomeKit (Standard and Pro). It can voice-bridge legacy Alexa/Google routines and control any compatible smart device.

What if the campaign doesn't fund?

If we don't reach our $100K goal, all pledges are refunded in full. The prototype is already working — backer funds accelerate production tooling, not basic R&D.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Free shipping within the continental US. International backers pay actual shipping cost at fulfillment (typically $90–$170 depending on region).
